Climate and Energy Outlook 2024 (KEV)

On behalf of Netbeheer Nederland, Quintel has translated the Climate and Energy Outlook 2024 (PBL) into a scenario in the Energy Transition Model (ETM); this translation was made based on the public data as well as additional data from PBL.

This translation of the KEV into an ETM scenario makes it possible to build on the KEV. For example by:

• Determine the impact of alternative (technological) choices on the outcomes of the KEV on a national scale;
• The KEV scenario can be used as a basis for municipal and provincial scenarios in the ETM.
